Reineke summer undergraduate researchers Nam, Monika, and Diane presented their research yesterday at the Summer Undergraduate Research Expo. Over 100 research experiences for undergraduates students gathered at the McNamara Alumni Center to present their work in a diverse pool of science and engineering projects.
Nam Nguyen worked with Leon Lillie and presented results for “Polymers Derived from Renewable Feedstocks.”
Monika Molenda was mentored by Dr. Quanxuan Zhang and showed her findings in “Developing a Trehalose-based Carboxylic Acid Hardener for Thermoset Epoxy Resins.”
Diane Kuai teamed up with Dr. Susith Wickramaratne to spearhead the “Synthesis and Characterization of Methylcellulose-containing Diblock Copolymers for Potential Gene Therapy Applications.”
Congrats everyone on an excellent poster session, and thanks for your hard work this summer!
